Howdy, thank's visit to my blog, Enjoy the read and welcome to the journey!

On the day of the school farewell, the hall was filled with emotions and memories, students, with teary eyes, reflected on the years they spent together, Stella sat quietly at the back, trying to focus on the school band’s performance, but her heart was heavy, she couldn’t take her eyes off Dimas, sitting in the front, every time their gazes met, she felt a deep connection, but she knew that after this day, their lives would separate.

Stella had secretly liked Dimas since their first meeting in the school cafeteria in tenth grade,  His smile had always been a source of comfort during tough times, despite this, Dimas had kept his distance, and Stella began to believe her feelings would never be returned.

Every time she tried to get closer, Dimas would pull away, more than once, Stella felt like a stranger in front of Dimas, even though they often passed each other in the school hallway, “Maybe I’m not deserve for him,” Stella thought, trying to convince herself, even though her heart trembled every time she saw Dimas, she knew that her feelings would never be accepted.

The farewell event finally ended, and everyone started leaving the hall, but Stella felt like there was something left unfinished, She run quickly toward their classroom, her steps trembling, Inside the now-empty classroom, she paused for a moment and looked at Dimas’s desk in the corner near the window, without thinking, Stella pulled an envelope from her bag and, with a racing heart, slipped the letter into the drawer of Dimas’s desk, It was her last act of courage, a confession of feelings that had long been buried, and a final farewell to the person who had been part of her life all this time.

To Dimas,
I know you’ve always kept your distance from me, maybe you never wanted to know how I feel, but today I have to tell you, I like you, for a long time.
However, I don’t want to force my feelings on you, I just want you to know, and I hope you remain happy wherever you are.
Tomorrow I will leave, continuing my studies on another island, I just want to thank you because, even though you may never realize it, you were the reason I got through the tough days at this school.
Goodbye, Dimas, I hope we meet again someday.
Stella

Dimas sat in the empty classroom, silent, look at the letter in his hands, his heart raced as he read each word on the paper, he had never hated Stella, on the contrary, he had always felt that Stella was too good for him. Dimas felt unworthy of the attention from someone as kind as Stella, that was why he had always kept his distance, he was afraid that if they got too close, he might ruin something beautiful.

after reading the letter, Dimas felt like the world around him had stopped, stella was leaving, and he couldn’t let this chance slip away, without thinking twice, he ran out of the classroom and immediately tried to contact Stella, his phone rang endlessly, but there was no answer, his friends told him that Stella was probably at the beach, her favorite spot to enjoy the sunset.

He immediately ran out of school and grabbed his bike, his breath was heavy as he pedaled as fast as he could, battling the strong evening winds, he had to find her. He had to tell her before it was too late.

When he arrived at the beach, Dimas saw the sun starting to set, painting the sky with a warm orange hue, casting a soft light across the horizon, from a distance, he saw Stella sitting on a large rock, gazing at the calm sea, without hesitation, Dimas ran towards her.

“Stella!” Dimas shouted, his voice breaking amidst the sound of crashing waves, Stella turned, surprised to see Dimas standing there, his face covered in sweat, breath coming in quick gasps.

“What are you doing here?” Stella asked, trying to hide her surprise.

Dimas walked closer and stood right in front of Stella, he paused for a moment, catching his breath, then said, “I’m stupid for always avoiding you, I know you like me, and… I like you too, but I was afraid I wouldn’t be the person you wanted.”

Stella was shocked, not knowing what to say, “Why didn’t you ever say anything?” she asked, her voice tinged with anger, though it almost drowned in the sound of the waves.

Dimas smiled slightly, “Because I’m a coward, but I don’t want to regret it anymore, I know you’re leaving, and I know it’s too late, but I want you to know, I like you too.”

Stella’s eyes filled with tears. “I don’t know what to say,” she replied, her voice trembling.

“Don’t say anything,” Dimas said as he sat next to Stella, they sat in silence, only accompanied by the sound of the waves crashing against the warm shore.

The sun slowly disappeared behind the horizon, leaving a dark sky filled with stars, although their time together was short, that evening at the beach became a memory they would both cherish forever, a love finally spoken on the edge of the sea, before the farewell came.
