One day, Yanuar hopped on the beach, enjoying the strong wind, the sky was clear, and the sun shone brightly, casting a little shadow under his feet, his father’s small boat was ready by the shore, gently rocked by the waves, It was the first time Yanuar would go fishing at night with his father, and he was very excited.
“Hurry up, Nuar! The wind is great today, the fish will be plenty!” his father called as he put the net into the boat.
Yanuar nodded eagerly, He was happy to go out to sea with his father, he loved the idea of sailing through the waves, seeing the sun from the middle of the sea, smelling the salty air, and hearing the seagulls.

Soon, the night was very dark, and Yanuar felt nervous, “Dad, it’s so dark! I can’t see anything except the moon, I’m bored,” he said, hugging his knees.
His father continued to work with the net, lifting it up empty, “Be patient, Nuar, darkness isn’t the end, there’s always light that comes in the dark.”
Yanuar didn’t understand, he was bored, staring at the dark sea, the cold wind made him shiver, then, suddenly, he saw something strange a small golden light in the waves, the light moved with the boat.
“Dad! Look! What’s that light in the water?” Yanuar asked, excited.
His father looked and smiled, “That’s plankton, Tiny creatures that can glow, they light up when the water moves.”
“They’re food for sea creatures, they’re very small, now, try putting your hand in the water,” his father said.
Yanuar quickly dipped his hand into the sea, the golden light grew brighter, dancing around the boat, yanuar laughed and did it again and again, the dark sea that had felt boring was now full of magic.
“Look, Dad! The sea is like it’s full of stars!” Yanuar said, amazed.
His father smiled. “See? I told you, In the darkness, there’s always light, sometimes, you just have to wait and look with your heart.”
“This sea is amazing, Dad, why am I just seeing this now?”
“Because now you’re seeing the sea with your heart, not just your eyes,” his father answered wisely.
Yanuar smiled, he was happy, even in the dark, there was always a little light, in the middle of the vast sea, he had discovered a secret.
